Do We Know Our Father?

This is eternal life, that we would know God and our Savior. If we say we know Him and continue in sin, we lie. Repent and be cleansed.

Repentance

It's only when we come to a place of repentance from our evil deeds that we begin to know God unto the salvation of our souls for eternity.
